Penn Fathom Electric Reel Kits

Innovative both in design and concept, the Penn Fathom Electric Reels are ready to provide anglers with a user-friendly package set to make deep drop and kite fishing more enjoyable. Taking the legendary Fathom II Lever Drag platform, Penn incorporated a brushless electric motor and fully integrated Lithium-Ion battery pack, eliminating the need for cords and receptacles on your boat along with the heavy batteries of the past. Its replaceable lithium batteries allow for easier charging and exchanges on the fly, keeping you fishing hard even longer.

Cutting The Cord

With each model of the Penn Fathom Electric Reel Kits, a 5aH Lithium Ion Battery and charger is included with purchase. Without being directly connect to the boat or a heavy battery, these reels simply become easier to use regardless of boat size and given tactics of the day. This is ideal to keep the deck clean, moving setups around the boat when landing fish, along with many other reasons. Additional batteries are sold separately but provide for additional power when needed.

Performance and Functionality

Users can easily adjust for line diameter settings and more using its large LCD screen and intuitive controls. Auto-stop functionality returns line back to the exact position of where it was dispensed, providing a more hands-free solution and preventing overrunning of your gear. An override option allows additional retrieve, along with a manual crank knob that serves as a complete backup to the reels electric motor for the final cranks to the surface or when out of power in general. Anglers will appreciate the spool tension control dial available externally on the reel, working to prevent dreaded backlashes with complete adjustment that allows anglers to control the descent of deep drop weights and other rigging.
